Backpack Fundraiser for CASA

It's time to start building backpacks to help benefit the children in the Court Appointed Special Assistant (CASA) program. Please fill a new or very gently used backpack with the following school supplies:
  • 1.5" 3-ring binder
  • 200+ sheets loose-leaf paper
  • 4 single subject spiral notebooks
  • 3 composition books
  • 10 pens
  • 10 pencils #2
  • 24 crayons
  • 5 colored 2-pocket folders

Other supplies desired: TI80 Multi Function Math/Science Calculator, calculators, multi-subject notebooks (3 & 5 subject), pencil cases, coloring books, colored markers, erasers, covered pencil sharpeners, blank index cards, colored pencils, preschool workbooks, colored dividers for binders, graph paper, childproof scissors, glue sticks, rulers, Post-It™ notes, highlighters, correction liquid, master combo locks with code, pocket dictionaries, gently used Barron's books.

Once you have a filled backpack (or supplies), please bring it to one of our many convenient drop-off points before August 15th or fill multiple backpacks and contact Melanie at Prisms Promotions 845-928-6914 for a pick-up!

CASA assists children through the family court system, and serves as a volunteer witness and child advocate service working closely with the court system. Children in the program are usually placed in foster homes and foster families may not have the resources to supply these children adequately. National Women's In Network Orange County Day Chapter is a proud supporter of Dispute Resolution Center's CASA program.

Cash donations and additional supplies are also greatly appreciated!
